National Conference on “Plastination and Casting Technique” is organized by the Department of Anatomy, Oral Pathology and Oral biology in a blended platform that comprises both online and offline sessions. The online session held on 14th December 2021 with scientific sessions, quiz and e-poster session followed by offline Hands on Workshop on 18th December 2021. Plastination is a technique used in anatomy to preserve the body parts. It was developed by Gunther Von Hagens. It is done by removing the fats and body fluids and replacing it by synthetic materials such as silicone, epoxy resins, epoxy polymers. The specimens are durable, do not decay, and odourless. The conference is organized with aim to create awareness to all budding health professionals in an around country.
